2020 National Convention
The Gamma Beta Phi Society recently held their 2020 National Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Held at The University of South Carolina Beaufort (Hilton Head Campus), representatives from 33 Chapters across America came together for a weekend of social networking, community service, friendly competition, chapter development workshops, and a red carpet Gala! In addition, the newly elected members of our National Executive Committee were announced, along with our 2020-2021 Regional Senators. 2020 CONVENTION PHOTOS – FRIDAY NIGHT
On Friday evening, conference attendees enjoyed our social evening of games, laughter, and connection! Chapters from across America come together for our opening session, as we kicked off our 2020 National Convention.
2020 CONVENTION PHOTOS – SATURDAY MORNING
On Saturday morning, conference attendees enjoyed a fun morning team-building activity, before heading to various chapter development workshops. Students gained information on a variety of topics including chapter membership, recruitment, marketing and branding, fundraising, leaving a lasting legacy, and engaging non-traditional members. Chapter Advisors attended a designated session focusing on new developments for the entire organization, and best practices for individual campus development.
2020 CONVENTION PHOTOS – SATURDAY AFTERNOON
On Saturday afternoon, conference attendees participated in our in-house community service projects. Attendees decorated items for the Hilton Humane Association/The Litter Box for abandoned animals. In addition, attendees decorated crowns, capes, wands, and masks for children at The Children’s Center of Hilton Head.
2020 CONVENTION PHOTOS – SATURDAY EVENING
On Saturday evening, conference attendees enjoyed our “Red Carpet Affair” – participants walked the red carpet, enjoyed southern food, and celebrated the achievements of our student leaders, Chapter Advisors, and National Executive Committee members. In addition, they celebrated the winners of our 2018-2019 National Service Project and our 2020 National Convention Digital Scrapbook Competition. Lastly, our new regional and national officers were honored during the Gala.
